In and Around Delhi Delhi has many architectural and heritage sights that are worth a visit. One-day sight-seeing trips of the Capital, starting at 09.00 am and reaching back at 05.30 pm will be arranged for visiting the following places: Bahai Lotus Temple or Teen Murti Bhavan, Qutab Minar, Indira Memorial, Laxmi Narain Mandir and Birla Mandir of New Delhi and Gandhi Memorial, Raj Ghat, Shanti Van, Shakti Sthal and Red Fort of Old Delhi. Another one-day sight-seeing trip starting at 06.00 am and reaching back at 10.00 pm will cover Hawa Mahal, Maharaja Palace, Jantar-Mantar, Museum Birla Mandir and Amer Fort. In the Vicinity Daily trips, starting from 06.00 am and reaching back at 00.30 am the next day, to destinations in the vicinity of Delhi will also be arranged. These include Sikandra, the tomb of Akabar the Great, Agra Fort and Taj Mahal, gems of Moghul Architecture at Agra and Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Going far A two-day trip starting at 09.00 pm every night and reaching back at 09.00 pm next night will cover Haridwar, Rishikesh and L.Jhoola, with an opportunity to have a holy bath in the Ganges at Haridwar. A three-day trip starting at 06.00 am every Monday and reaching back on Wednesday will cover Jaipur, the Pink City, Fatehpur Sikhri, Taj Mahal, Sikandra, Mathura and Vrindavan. A week-long trip to the Himalayas, reaching Sri Badrinath – Kedarnath and touching Haridwar, Rishikesh, Gauri Kund, Joshi Math and Pipalkoti on the way will start every Friday and reach back on the next Friday. Besides these two-way trips, daily one-way services are arranged to the following destinations starting at the time given in brackets: Kulu-Manali (05.30 pm), Simla (08.00 pm), Jammu (05.30 pm), Khatra (05.30 pm) and Nainital (08.00 pm). |
